Kristi and I celebrated our birthday up at Melcher. It only took five breaths to blow out the candles. Kristi , you are getting so old!
We had so much fun eating, visiting, and of course 4-wheel riding. The mountains were so beautiful. Everything was so green and there were wild flowers everywhere...we even saw quite a few deer.

We've been putting together some 72 hour kits... just in case one of these tornadoes comes closer. Not to worry because the closest one was 100 miles away but we thought we should be safe and put one together. It definitely isn't as fun as four wheeling at Melcher!
PS it looks likes your cake is missing a FEW candles!
Happy b-day!(late). We really miss Kristi at the branch. We welcomed our first few "new" singles branch seniors today. Can't wait for you guys to join us on our 1st boating activity of the season.June 15@the Hobson's hope you can come. We will have so much fun.

Happy belated birthday! I'm glad that you had a great day at Melcher... and I am also glad that the day didn't include any overturned 4-wheelers or cow-pie-splattered riders or vehicles stuck on rocks. I guess those kinds of things only happen on branch activities. Here's hoping that both you and Kristi have a cow-pie-free-year full of wild flowers and wild family!
